10 October marks World Mental Health Day... A global reminder that our mental wellbeing matters just as much as our physical health.
This year’s theme, “Access to services – mental health in catastrophes and emergencies,” focuses on the importance of supporting mental health during times of crisis. When the world feels uncertain or unstable, having access to the right help and support can make all the difference.
While we can’t always change what’s happening around us on a global scale, we can take small, meaningful steps to look after ourselves and those around us. Checking in with loved ones, taking breaks from the news, finding moments of calm within the chaos and reaching out for support when needed all help to protect our mental health.
Together, we can make sure that no one feels alone, no matter what challenges the world brings.
