I thoroughly enjoyed finalising the BDLD and their peer champion project for schools.
Supporting BDLD in creating their own peer champion project has been such a rewarding experience that will have such a lasting impact on each school community and I'm so excited to work back in the London Borough of Barnet in the NY. It's so important that we empower our students in how they can support fellow peers.
WHY SHOULD SCHOOLS HAVE PEER CHAMPIONS? Overall, being a peer champion is a rewarding experience that can have a lasting impact on both the student and their school community. It's an opportunity to make a difference, learn new skills, and grow as an individual.
