I had the absolute pleasure of spending the day at Acorn Park, an independent SEN provision currently working towards the Optimus Education Leading Parent Partnership Award. From the moment I arrived, the whole environment radiated calm, empathy and genuine connection.
One of the aspects of my work that I enjoy the most is assessing schools for the Wellbeing Award for Schools and the Leading Parent Partnership Award with Optimus Education. These roles allow me to step into different school communities, witness the passion of their staff teams and support their strategic planning. I love helping schools bring out the best in themselves, strengthening what already works well and identifying opportunities to develop even further.
Put simply, I love my job!
